It may help trying to remove some of the keratosis pilaris with exfoliating witha loofa and soap free cealers like dove and cetaphil are also highly recommended as is keeping your skin moisturized.

There are multiple creams and lotions that may be prescribed for patients wanting to treat keratosis pilaris however, they don not always work well. Products containing lactic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, salicylic acid, a retinoid or other acne medicines, or urea can sometimes reduce the bumps.

Treatments that can be successful in treating keratosis pilaris are to use topical steroids for a week or so, you can also try removing the bumps with microdermabrasion, chemical peels or other methods which can help you.
