Stunted Socail Life Due to Leads to Geek Behavior

By Al Oliver

Ever met a computer geek? I am not talking about the professionals that are employed on the geek squad to go out and help folk with PC issues; I'm talking about a geek that is seated in a room crammed with PC kit and runs his life. My sister's son fits into this category. In some ways his life is a bit sad and in others he could be a bit frightening. He was a ordinary healthy kid who developed a serious case of acne when he was 14. He was so embarrassed and awkward about the acne that he started communicating with others in bulletin boards instead of facing them. Through this he spent a great deal of time on computers and found he had great PC abilities. He began making money off the internet by age eighteen and basically lived his life in his parent's cellar.

My sister knows I Am a consultant and so she asked if I'd interrupt with her child. He claims to be pleased with his life; however he spends about no time outside of the basement.

My child, his cousin, is the same age. My child has invited him to many activities through the years, but he is always turned him down. I told my sister that I assumed the key was to start with Proactiv Solution for the acne scar removal and to work from there. It was the acne that caused him to go into his shell in the 1st place so I presumed this needed to be addressed. If he would go thru the acne scar removal then he may gain the confidence to face folks and start to live a more normal life.

He was extremely successful at earning on the internet. At the age of twenty he was making over five thousand dollars a month. My sister wanted him to enjoy spending his money off the Net and out of the cellar. I told my sister that as well as organizing the acne scar removal she should also tell him that he needed to move out of the cellar. Forcing him to find a different place to live would help him have new surroundings around people. He could afford an apartment or to get a home of his very own if he wished.

My nephew was extraordinarily upset when he was told that he needed to move. He agreed to go to the appointment to discuss the acne scar removal, but he asserted this wasn't why he spent time alone. One he started the laser procedures on his face he used to be a different person. His skin improve drastically and so did his self esteem. He's still working online and doing very well; however he is also socializing and getting out more.
